Azlin, Psy.D. enjoyed the privilege of serving the Boston North Shore community, providing psychological services from 1994 to 2008.  WPS was closed in October 2008 as Dr. Azlin has relocated to the Seattle, Washington area.  Thanks to the many wonderful clients and colleagues who contributed to the success of WPS.

Wenham Psychological Services was founded in 1994 as the private practice of Cheryl R. Azlin, Psy.D. in Wenham, MA .  WPS provided general psychological services to adults and children. The practice later moved to larger quarters down the road in Hamilton, MA.  The final location of WPS was at 203 Willow Street, Suite 1E, South Hamilton, MA 01982.

How are parents to react to this? Is laughter good therapy? Or is this a serious oversight by the school district. 

According to sources, toll free numbers are often bought in bulk, and advertisements containing “adult content” are not uncommon. Hence, an expired toll free number could easily become connected to a service that provides “adult content.”

Authorities are trying to determine, is this a suicide, or something else? Some persons are maintaining the couple had simply left the ship at a port. Others are considering a suicide-homicide. 

Many research studies, including the June 14 issue of The Archives of Internal Medicine, indicate that elderly persons are at a higher suicide risk than other age groups.

Suicide currently ranks the 11th leading cause of death.
